Giving Is Awesome!

Back in December, I participated in the Giving Is Awesome Project. People nominated families to receive the gift of custom portraits from Lifestyle Images. The Foriest family received one of these gifts. Their story was on our local news when it happened--their house burned down and they lost everything. Mom and all ten kids were in the house at the time the fire started, but miraculously escaped unharmed.

This was a big challenge for me, since I don't do a lot of big families. But it was fun, and the kids were great! Kudos to mom and dad for raising such well-behaved children! Anytime you take ten kids ranging in age from 13 down to 8 months out in public, it's got to be a challenge, right?

Andy+Marianne+Rob+Talli

Wow, I had so much fun this afternoon with some of my favorite clients! Andy & Marianne scheduled a session for while Andy's brother Rob, and his wife Talli, were in town for Easter weekend. Rob & Talli are just as nice and fun as Andy & Marianne, and we had a great time creating some fun family photos for them. Here's a sneak preview, including some of Rees & Emme, Andy & Marianne's adorable kids. Love you guys!

Amy + Kelly

I had so much fun yesterday photographing Amy and her good friend Kelly. Kelly lives here in town, and Amy lives in Wyoming. When she planned to come visit Kelly for a few days, she decided to have a photo session of the two of them together. Living so far away, they don't get to visit very often. We went to downtown Franklin, which was a madhouse with all the glorious spring weather--there were people EVERYWHERE!

Girls, it was so great to meet both of you, and I really enjoyed the afternoon! Amy, I hope you have a safe and comfortable flight back to Wyoming, and maybe the spring blizzards are almost over, lol!

I had the pleasure this week of working on a shoot with Stacy and Duff. David Wright, Dave Pavol and I photographed this lovely couple in the style of 1940's Hollywood. It was so much fun to create these images!
