Well, as you can see, I have updated my blog with a whole new look. This is one of several new things in the works. Hopefully, I will have more announcements in the next week or so...things have been very hectic, with deadlines piling up...But I can finally see the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel on several projects, so that's gratifying.
I hope you will let me know what you think of the new design. My website will also be revamped soon, I hope.
I haven't shot anything new this week, so I've ventured into the archives for an image to post...This is one of my daughter and my niece on our recent trip to Florida. What better way to spend a hot summer afternoon...

Another busy weekend during wedding season...
On Saturday, I had the pleasure of photographing LaTonya and Tyson's wedding with Amanda Hagler of Shutterbelle Photography. LaTonya and Tyson were a pleasure to work with, and I always love shooting with Amanda! The wedding took place at First Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, and it was a beautiful--but HOT--day.
The reception was held at the church following the ceremony. It was catered by Chef Ray Davis, and the lovely wedding cakes were done by A Country Chapel. Jason Manuel provided music for dancing, and Turning Point Productions videotaped the entire event.

Finally, a break...
It has been one heck of a busy week. Dashing around, trying to get all our projects finished in time for the bridal show at the convention center, and weddings to shoot at the same time...Unveiling David Wright Photography's whole new look...
Friday, I had the pleasure of helping David photograph Amy and Brian's wedding at Immaculate Conception in Clarksville. It rained all day, and I wrecked my car on the way to the wedding--slid into a guard rail in the rain. But the wedding was beautiful, and Amy & Brian, and their families were so nice!
On Sunday, the biggest bridal fair--Weddings-- was held at the convention center downtown. We arrived early in the morning to set up the booth. We had designed all new colors, new sign, new brochures, new business cards, new lighting, new photographs...and this amazing floor canvas that we about killed ourselves painting in the days before the show. It was so humid here that we had a hard time getting the paint to dry in time! But we were pleased with the end result. Here are some photos of the booth right before the doors opened...

So, now that the show is over, I can get back to my portrait business. I hope to have a big announcement in the next few days!!! Stay tuned....
