Well, I have joined a few more photographers' forums. Over at ILP (I Love Photography), I have joined a group that reads each other's blogs. So that means I actually have to update mine more than 3 times a year! OF course, that means I have to find something to blog about...
OK, plans are moving forward on my new business venture. My friend and colleague, Rebekah and I are joining up to form a new company called Pope & Schwartz Photography. We specialize in contemporary school portraits for day cares, mother's day out programs, pre-schools, home school groups, and small private schools. Not your typical school photo, though! Here are a few examples...If you are interested in having us photograph your school group, you can contact us through www.barbieschwartz.com or rebekahpope.com.

wow, this is a really cool, smart idea you and your friend have come up with. it fills a real need too! most school portraits are boooring. GOOD luck with your venture! :)
#2, I find so fun and carefree and I love the colors on #3.
Great idea...All those sweet faces are SO cute! Best of luck!
It's great to "meet" another TN girl! :) I'm in Adamsville (a small town near the Mississippi border).
Cute - love the expression in the 2nd image :)
Great pictures, the eyes in the first one are amazing! Best of luck with the new business. People are bored with traditional school portraits, I think what you're doing is a perfect idea.
Cool, my name is Rebekah as well! All of these are beautiful but the last one is really cute. I definitely agree with Ellen; many people are bored with the typical school headshots and you will probably be very successful.
